By the end of June, I should have:

  • lost about 3 lbs since I first logged my weight (the 19th). I’ve decided to weigh myself weekly instead of daily, so fingers crossed for the 26th!
  • opened a bank account for moolah from my first job to swim around in. I’m seriously stoked for this—my first official paycheck, imagine that!
  • saved up 2/3 of said moolah to put in said bank account; the remaining 1/3 will be used to fund my hobbies (analog photography, reading, making music). As luck would have it, I’ve moved back to my parents’ house and thus don’t have to pay for rent, food, laundry, etc. Oh, parental coddling. You’re not too bad.
  • finished reading Schild’s Ladder by Greg Egan. Getting my Sci-Fi on! I’m laying off Murakami and Plath because I feel like I’m indirectly banishing my endorphins whenever I read them.
  • shed my vampiric habits and regularized my eating and sleeping patterns. Nowadays I sleep at 5 am and wake up in the afternoon, which isn’t too detrimental since I’m on vacation and I still get at least 8 hours of sleep, but I’m missing out on a myriad of wonderful morning things (like a nice breakfast while the air is still cold and fresh—that’s probably one of the best ways to start the day).
